Credit Control

Mrs Dimples TM allows you to easily monitor credit given to your customers or credit extended to your business by your suppliers. When you create a credit purchase or sale record, the transaction is tracked. How it is tracked will depend upon the credit line you have extended to that customer or a supplier has extended to you in the customer/supplier database.  Thus if a customer is given 30 days credit on their purchases from you, Mrs Dimples will track the transaction and compare the time elapsed against the allotted credit term given to that customer. This is equally true if you have 30 days to pay on a transaction such as a purchase of stock.

The user can also get statistics or credit history against every transaction for any particular customer or the average time that that customer takes to pay or indeed view trends, ie perhaps the customer is taking longer each time to pay. You can also set up the system to show customers who are overdue for payment every time you enter the system. This allows the user to easily check on customer credit and if necessary generate a statement run. These same statistics are available to you when viewing your own credit history to a particular supplier. In other words you can see how a supplier views your credit worthiness.

The system further provides for notes to be attached on the customers file or indeed on a suppliers file such as the one below:-

These yellow "stick-it" type notes will appear anywhere in the program where a user accesses the customer (or supplier) by way of the customer (or supplier) drop down menus such as in the Sales Recording page as in the example above. To access credit information on a customers, you can either view this information in the Debtors Ledger or in the customer database. The same is true for your own performance in the eyes of a supplier by accessing the Creditors Ledger or the supplier database.
